Big Sip Blog

The Introduction

Hi there guys!

My name is Jordan Indigo Isaac Vos: I’m the newest addition to the Big Sip Co family and I’ll be the digital voice you read through your screens twice a month – it’s on you to keep up to date and never miss a blog, I know you’ll manage because I’m in your email right now. Nudge nudge, wink wink.

First things first, it’s important to establish off-the-bat that I have opted to put down my pint of Golden Ale until I’ve finished this blog with a definitive “cheers, ganbei and ayeye!”

You’re reading this long winded and empty bellied blog because you have curious taste buds and an appetite for one-of-a-kind beer. You want to know more about Big Sip Co. Don’t worry, I’ve got you.

Big Sip Co. are a youthful craft beer brewery with a unique approach to flavorful fusions that merged local authenticity with world class brews. I won’t beat around the bottle any longer; allow me to break down exactly what craft beer is and why it should be your ultimate choice at any dinner, picnic, birthday celebration, wedding or chill session.

According to Google, a craft brewery is a brewery that produces small amounts of beer, typically less than large breweries, and is often independently owned. This is where Big Sip Co. comes in to create some pretty mind-boggling brews while placing emphasis on enthusiasm, new flavours and varied brewing techniques. Yes, our head-brewer Jan has even used locally sourced yummy mangos and even butternut to create concoctions that went down like, well, an ice cold beer!

I cannot stress enough that Big Sip Co is not about mass production or creating a watered down glass of carbonated blended ingredients. They’re about emboldening their clientele’s palettes; giving them such an incredible experience with craft beer, so much so that it equips you with a real knowledge of the world of brewing.

Big Sip Co. is an experience waiting to be had, to be shared and to be savored. From the Golden Ale represented by the roaring tau (Setswana for lion) to the rich Session Stout symbolized by the elusive black rhino with the Weiss, Kölsch, Mandarina and Citrillo in between – there is a family of Tswana animals waiting to be discovered by your curiosity for the wild side.

Knowledge is power and craft beer is knowledge, so get down to Big Sip Co today and get you a case of power!
