...where brewing is our craft, and exploring uncharted territory our passion...
...where our appetite to serve you locally brewed craft beer is big, really BIG...
...where you'll find the highest quality brews, full of the most fun flavours yet.
Big brews. Big craft. Big taste.
We wanted a challenge: to create a specialised craft beer in the land where water is scarce and hops don’t grow. We are proud to offer you an exceptional drinking experience right here in Botswana.
Our labour of love combines the highest quality ingredients, sourced from around the world, with modern brewing methods designed to bring new life and flavour to the beer market.
We are based in Gaborone and have started sending our brews across the country for everyone to enjoy. So take a Big Sip and join us in exploring the unexplored with Botswana’s first craft beer!

Our products form part of a wider eco-development programme in Gaborone. Most waste products from the brewing process, including water, are used as inputs for a custom-designed aquaponics system to support the local production of fruit and vegetables.
This maximises the benefits from the brewing process. We hope that, in the future, this will help us to grow both the supply of local fresh food and provide a whole sub-sector in agricultural development.
Our customers are encouraged to return used bottles which we re-use for subsequent brews, following a full sanitary process. We avoid the use of plastics and are exploring more sustainable options to doing business, such as water re-use, and implementing canned beers.
We are committed to minimising waste, re-using resources and recycling, for the benefit of our local environment
Supporting our Community
We are fortunate to produce and enjoy craft beer; but we also want to support those who are less fortunate
The Lady Khama Charitable Trust (LKCT) was founded in 2002 in honour of Lady Ruth Khama. Through a grant application system, the Trust allocates funds to projects that focus on vulnerable women and children. This mirrors the approach of Lady K, highlighted by her involvement with the Botswana Red Cross, Botswana Council for Women and SOS Children’s Villages.
Children in the Wilderness is a non-profit organisation supported by ecotourism company Wilderness Safaris to facilitate sustainable conservation through leadership development and education of rural children in Africa. It focuses on the next generation of decision-makers; inspiring them to care for their natural heritage and to become the future custodians of these areas.
